Frances Gaudier–Schmidt, DNP, MSN, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, BSN, is an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner with board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is certified in basic life support, BLS. At Conviva Orange Park, she provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a commitment to medical excellence.
Frances Gaudier-Schmidt earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice, DNP, with a 4.0 GPA, from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. While at Vanderbilt, she was President of the DNP Student Diversity Affinity Group and was active on the Honor Council. She obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, MSN, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, NP Specialty with a 4.0 GPA, from Vanderbilt and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. Her distinctions include membership in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Vanderbilt Chapter.
Frances Gaudier-Schmidt served as a nurse practitioner with Baptist AgeWell Center for Health until joining Conviva in 2022. She managed acute and chronic conditions, medication regimens, preventative care, and wellness screenings and collaborated with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic and individualized patient care. She received the Above and Beyond Award from AgeWell team member nominations. From 2015 to 2017, Frances Gaudier-Schmidt worked as a RN at Mayo Clinic Hospital in the Neurosciences Unit and the Outpatient Spine Center, and was involved with the Mayo Clinic Research, Evidence-based Practice, Unit Council, and Float Guideline committees.
She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Florida Nurses Association, Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association, and enjoys nature, cooking and spending time with her family.
