Dr. German Suarez, M.D., is an internal medicine physician with more than 20 years of experience caring for adult and geriatric patients. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana in Cuba and completed internal medicine residency training in both Cuba and at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Throughout his career, Dr. Suarez served as a primary care physician, associate medical director, internal medicine resident, clinical immunology fellow, and clinical research coordinator. He has extensive experience managing chronic medical conditions, promoting preventive care, and helping older adults maintain their health, independence, and quality of life. In addition to his clinical work, he participated in medical education, clinical research, and leadership activities, receiving recognition for excellence in teaching and patient care. Dr. Suarez believes in embracing a culture of caring for people regardless of age or circumstances and was inspired to pursue medicine by the opportunity to improve the lives of others. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family.
