Gladimar Santiago Cartagena, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with additional certification in Obesity Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Iberoamericana and completed her Family Medicine residency at Manatí Medical Center in Puerto Rico. Dr. Santiago Cartagena has extensive experience in primary care, managing chronic conditions, preventive medicine, and coordinating care for seniors. Her professional background includes roles in outpatient clinics, urgent care, and oncology support, as well as teaching nursing students and mentoring care teams. She is passionate about empowering patients through education and promoting healthy lifestyles to prevent disease. Outside of work, Dr. Santiago Cartagena enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and going to the movies.
