Dr. Hong Vu, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed his internal medicine residency at Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies, Michigan State University, and an ICU/ER residency at Bachmai Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam. Dr. Vu earned his medical degree from Hanoi Medical University and a Master of Medicine from the University of Melbourne with an Australian Government scholarship. Before joining Conviva in 2023, Dr. Vu was a primary care physician with Christy Trinity Clinic in San Marcos, Texas. He also held roles as a hospitalist with Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, St John Medical Center in Longview, Washington, and Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac, Michigan. Dr. Vu is passionate about addressing chronic medical issues like diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and hypertension, especially in older adults. He believes in providing the same level of care to his patients as he would to his loved ones, aligning with Conviva's patient-focused approach. His healthcare journey is driven by a deep empathy for seniors, nurturing their holistic well-being. Outside of his work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, gardening and working out.
