Ms. Idalys Reyes Jimenez, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Master Certificate and a Master of Science in Nursing from Miami Regional University in Miami, Florida and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medical Sciences in Villa Clara, Cuba. Ms. Reyes Jimenez provided primary care to adults and older adults in senior center and community-based settings, managing acute and chronic conditions and coordinating patient-centered care. She also delivered care to diverse and underserved populations, supported developmental pediatric patients and worked in care coordination and care navigation roles focused on improving health outcomes and access to services. Earlier in her career, she practiced medicine in Cuba in both pediatric and primary care settings. She believes listening to patients is essential to improving quality of life and is passionate about diabetes, heart health and nutrition. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors and being with her family.
