Dr. Ivana Yero, DO, is a family medicine physician with specialized training in geriatric medicine and a passion for helping older adults maintain their health, independence, and quality of life. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a Family Medicine Residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, followed by a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. Throughout her training, Dr. Yero cared for patients across a variety of clinical settings, with a particular focus on the unique needs of seniors. She also participated in clinical research related to geriatric care, preventive health, and healthcare quality improvement. Passionate about brain health, caregiving, and reducing loneliness and social isolation, Dr. Yero believes that taking the time to listen to patients is essential to improving their health and well-being. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and cooking.
