Dr. Javier F. Rodriguez, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, performed a junior clinical fellowship in cardiovascular surgery and in community health and primary care at Baylor College of Medicine, Methodist Hospital, in Houston Texas. Dr. Rodriguez completed his internal medicine residency at Christ Hospital and Medical Center/Ravenswood Hospital & Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He served an internship at Frankford Hospital, affiliated with the Medical College of Pennsylvania, after earning his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon in Mexico. His professional appointments include FPA, Gonzaba Medical Group, Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Committee Chairman, PacifiCare of San Antonio Quality Assurance Committee Member, and Southwest General Hospital Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee Chairman. Before joining Conviva in 2021, Dr. Rodriguez led an internal medicine solo practice in San Antonio, TX, since 1999 and previously worked with FPA/Gonzaba Medical Group and Health Texas Medical Group. Dr. Rodriguez chose medicine to make a difference in people's lives. In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling with family, music, and films.
