Dr. Jeffrey Collins, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics. He served as a clinical fellow at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital after earning his medical degree cum laude from Boston University. He obtained an M.A. in Social and Medical Anthropology from the University of Rochester and an A.B. cum laude from Bowdoin College. Dr. Collins was an instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and Medical Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Community Health Improvement. His honors include the Exceptional Service Award from the U.S. Public Health Service National Health Service Corps, the Meaderis Resident Teaching Award, and the Preceptorship Award from Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University Alpert School of Medicine. He also served as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Urgent Care Foundation, and chief medical officer of M.D. Now Urgent Care. His professional affiliations include the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Collins is responsible for numerous clinical innovations, has published peer-reviewed scholarship, and presented at professional meetings.
