Dr. Jheannel White is a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. White earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies, Mona campus, Jamaica, in 2012 and worked as a physician for several years in Jamaica before deciding to return to Florida and continue her training. She completed a family medicine (FM) residency with the Community Health of South Florida Brodes H. Hartley, Jr., Teaching Health Center, (CHI) where she was honored with the Family Medicine Residency DIO Award for Top Academic Achiever, Resident of the Year, and Co-chief Resident. Dr. White practiced family medicine at a Federally Qualified Health Center in South Miami where she served as an Attending physician and Teaching Health Center faculty member, supervising FM residents in the centers outpatient clinic and teaching rotating medical students from FIU and FM Residents from Larkin Hospital. Dr. White chose medicine to make a difference in people's lives by helping them put their health first. She enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and outdoor activities with her dog.
