Mrs. Joanna Maria Bernardi, MSN/Ed, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in primary care and nursing. She earned a Post Master's Certification (APRN) from South University in Savannah, Georgia, and also holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix. Throughout her career, she provided comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic conditions and delivered high-quality nursing care across diverse healthcare settings. Her experience included advanced practice nursing at Sanitas Medical Center and nearly two decades as a registered nurse with Orlando Health. Mrs. Bernardi also served as a preceptor and mentor to nursing staff and students and contributed to quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes. She believes in empowering patients and care teams through education, accurate information, and continual learning. Passionate about brain health, caregiving, nutrition, heart health, and supporting older adults, she values helping seniors maintain their quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, volunteering, spending time with family, and participating in church activities.
