Jorge A. Urgell, DNP, MSN, APRN, graduated with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Miami Regional University. He also holds a Master's Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Sacred Heart in Puerto Rico. His extensive experience includes working as a Family Nurse Practitioner at various medical centers and as an instructor in Family Nurse Practitioner programs. He has also served as a Senior Clinical Research Nurse and a Case Manager. His work in geriatric care has been particularly impactful, providing compassionate and comprehensive care to elderly patients. Dr. Urgell has also contributed to academic programs, mentoring future nurse practitioners and advancing the field of nursing through education. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Urgell enjoys engaging in community health initiatives, participating in local health fairs, and volunteering at community clinics. He is passionate about promoting health and wellness in underserved communities. In his free time, Dr. Urgell loves spending time with his family, exploring nature, and reading about the latest advancements in medical science.
