Dr. Jose A. Torres Ramirez, a dedicated general practice physician, completed his residency at San Cristobal Hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dr. Torres Ramirez earned his medical degree and Health Services Management certification from Iberoamerican University in the Dominican Republic. He is a member of the American Heart Association, the American Stroke Association, and the College of Medical Surgeons of Puerto Rico. Dr. Torres Ramirez practiced at Orlando Family Physicians by Innova Care, focusing on chronic conditions. He previously was the medical director of Coimbra Family Medical Center and MedSpa, an ER physician at Mennonite Hospital, and a physician at Hospice La Fe. Dr. Torres Ramirez believes taking the time to listen to his patients is critical in enhancing their health and quality of life. Passionate about brain and heart health, diabetes, and reducing loneliness and food insecurity, he chose medicine to protect seniors' well-being. In his free time, he enjoys family, the outdoors, and volunteering. He provided care during Puerto Rico's 2020 earthquake crisis and led cardiovascular health initiatives in Paraíso and Santo Domingo.
