Juan Roman Narvaez, MD, specializes in family medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Americana in Managua, Nicaragua. Dr. Narvaez completed his Family Medicine residency at UHS Southern California Medical Education Consortium, where he served as Co-Chief Resident and helped train resident physicians while taking on additional leadership and administrative responsibilities. His experience included caring for patients in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, critical care, and specialty settings, as well as previous roles in clinical research and healthcare operations. Dr. Narvaez believes in treating patients with the same time, dedication, and commitment he would invest in those closest to him. He entered healthcare because of his passion for helping others and serving his community and is especially passionate about nutrition and heart health. He values caring for older adults and considers it an honor to learn from their wisdom while helping them navigate their evolving health needs. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, listening to music, and enjoying the outdoors.
