Kadija Ibrahima Traore, APRN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. At Conviva Care Center NW 183rd, she provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a dedication to medical excellence. Ms. Traore earned her APRN, FNP degrees from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida, and holds a medical degree cum laude from the School of Medicine of Santiago, Cuba. Ms. Traore has participated in numerous international medical programs including a special workshop on AIDS control in Santiago, Cuba; antenatal care in Bamako, Mali (Africa); three nutritional surveys as part of Doctors Without Borders; as a member of the Nutrition Cluster in Haiti; and in the organization and implementation on data gathering, processing, and analysis as part of a free obstetrics health care program in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Ms. Traore possesses strong diplomatic skills and speaks English, Spanish, Creole, French, and several African languages. She has a keen interest in human rights, populations’ cultures, and environmental issues. She is also a manager with an emphasis on the dynamics of human resources and a strategic thinker. Ms. Traore is married, with two children, and enjoys spending time with family and friends appreciating traditional music from different countries.
