Kimberly Lynne McDougall, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, joined CenterWell as a doctorally prepared, board-certified family nurse practitioner. Ms. McDougall earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from UT Health-San Antonio in 2022 after completing over 660 practicum hours as a student family nurse practitioner in clinical and hospital settings. She received a BSN from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, an ASN, and an AAN from Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. McDougall was a health science technology teacher in the Northside Independent School District of San Antonio, helping student nurses gain patient care experience in area hospitals and nursing homes. She was previously an RN at UF Health Shands Hospital and, earlier, at North Florida Regional Medical Center. “I believe listening to my patients is essential for improving their health and wellness,” describes Ms. McDougall's care philosophy and reflects CenterWell's patient-centered values. Ms. McDougall chose her career from a warm place in her heart for seniors and for safeguarding their quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
