Lai-Yuan Liu, M.D., received board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of- Internal Medicine. Dr. Liu completed a residency in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Florida, from 1981 to 1983, and an internship in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital, 1980 to 1981. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, 1976 to 1980. As an undergraduate, he received a Bachelor of Science with a major in biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, 1971 to 1976. Dr. Liu has been recognized through the NCQAs Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP).
