Dr. Laura Isela Dominguez Soler, a board-certified internal medicine specialist focused on geriatrics, completed her internal medicine residency in 2010 and internship in 2008 at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, where she earned her medical degree in 2007. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas-Pan American, distinguished with the 2003 Herbert M. Seybold, M.D. Scholarship and the Dame Cicely Saunders Society Excellence Award for compassionate care, teamwork skills, and professionalism. Before joining our center, Dr. Dominguez Soler worked with Jerome Lee Sang, M.D., PA, a private practice in Portland, TX, since 2011. With an affinity for older adults and a passion for addressing brain health, heart health, and diabetes, she believes in providing each patient with the same dedication and commitment she would offer her loved ones. Dr. Dominguez Soler chose medicine to make a difference in people's lives by prioritizing their health. Her commitment extended to her volunteering with St. Vincent's Clinic and the Ambassador Mentor Program. Outside of work, she enjoys reading books, making memories with her family, and the outdoors.
