Leon Martinez, M.D., is board-certified in family medicine, from 2013 to 2023. Dr. Martinez completed a residency at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and was honored as Chief Resident from 2003 to 2004. He earned his medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico, and completed his studies in General Surgery at the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua. His published articles include Immunizations at Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, May 2004, and Thoracic Pathologies, a retroactive analysis of thoracic pathologies treated surgically at Manolo Morales Hospital in Managua, Nicaragua. Dr. Martinez is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He enjoys playing the piano.
