Leonardo Bejarano, PA-C, is board-certified through the Florida Board of Medicine-Allied Health, obtained National Physician Assistant Certification, and is also certified in advanced cardiovascular life support, ACLS. At Conviva Military Trail, he provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a commitment to medical excellence. Mr. Bejarano earned a Master of Medical Science with Honors, specializing in Cardiology and Internal Medicine, from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in June 2004. He received a Bachelor of Science, Physician Assistant with Honors from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in June 2000. He is also a graduate of Palm Beach State College as a Cardiac and Critical Care Registered Nurse. Mr. Bejarano joined Jupiter Medical Group, now part of Conviva, as a physician assistant in July 2006. From January 2002 to July 2006, he practiced as a physician assistant, cardiology, in cardiac centers such as Miami Cardiology Group, Miami, Florida, and Palm Beach Cardiology Center, Palm Beach, Florida. He practiced as a physician assistant, internal medicine, in hospital settings, including Baptist Hospital in South Miami, Florida, and Kendall Medical Center in Miami, Florida, from September 2001 to December 2001. Mr. Bejarano is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, FAPA, the American Medical Association, AMA, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants, AAPA. A former marathoner and triathlete, Mr. Bejarano has participated in multiple national and international races, including the New York City Marathon and Miami Man 70.3.
