Leonid Pimentel-Guerrero, M.D., is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatrics. At Conviva Flagler, he leads a team of compassionate professionals who provide patient-focused care with a dedication to medical excellence. Dr. Pimentel-Guerrero performed a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey, and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in the Bronx, New York. He earned his medical degree from the Zoilo Marinello Vidaurreta School of Medical Science, in Las Tunas, Cuba. Dr. Pimentel-Guerrero is a member of the AMA, ACP, and AGS. He has been recognized for his fellowship in long-term care, AMDA, and received a Gold Title in medical school. Dr. Pimentel-Guerrero has been recognized through the NCQAs Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP).
