Luis Cabrera, M.D., is board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. At Conviva North Miami Beach and Aventura, he leads a team of professionals dedicated to medical excellence in compassionate, patient-focused healthcare. Dr. Cabrera completed a residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Hoboken, New Jersey in 1999. He earned his medical degree in family practice from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and studied as an undergraduate at the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Cabrera is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Academy of Family Practice, and the American Health Council. He has been honored by the Society of Teachers of Family Practice, with a Residency Teaching Award, and has received an Award for Outstanding Medicine. Dr. Cabrera enjoys family gatherings and outdoor activities like boating and golf.
