Dr. Lynnette Lallave-Cortes, MD, is a dedicated physician with extensive experience in primary care and chronic disease management. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. Her professional background includes serving as a physician for HMO/MCS in Puerto Rico, where she focused on preventive care, diabetes management, and patient education. Dr. Lallave-Cortes has also worked in hospital settings, gaining experience in ER, ICU, and inpatient medicine. Guided by her philosophy that listening to patients is key to improving their quality of life, she is passionate about caregiving, diabetes, and addressing loneliness among seniors. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family.
