Maria C. Rojas, M.D., is a graduate of the Family Medicine Program of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. Dr. Rojas earned a Fellowship in Maternal Child Health Managed Care and Teaching at the University of Miami after completing her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida as well. She earned her medical degree from the University of the North in Barranquilla, Colombia. Her post-graduate education includes the Clinical Nutrition & Functional Medicine Advanced Program at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine; Lifestyle and Mind-Body Medicine at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts; and the Population Health Symposium at Jefferson College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and the University of Miami School of Nursing Preceptor Program, Dr. Rojas has been honored with the Hedis 5 Stars in 2016 and 2017, and HEAL, the Humana Excellence and Leadership Award in 2016.She enjoys nature, gardening, bird watching, travel and loves living in South Florida with her family.
