Maria Cristina Rodriguez, MSN, APRN, joined Conviva as a board certified, advanced registered nurse practitioner. Ms. Rodriguez completed internships at Baptist Hospital of Miami in 2013 and 2014; Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, in the emergency room and psychiatric center in 2013, and the trauma center in 2014; Jackson North Hospital in Miami, FL, in the obstetrics and gynecology center, 2014; and Jackson South Dade Health System in Miami, FL, in the emergency room and primary care, 2015 and 2016. Ms. Rodriguez obtained her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in 2016, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing cum laude in 2014, from the Foreign Educated Physician BSN/MSN Accelerated Program at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Earlier in her career, she earned her medical degree from Federico Villarreal University in Lima, Peru. Dr. Rodriguez practiced medicine as a primary care physician for six years with Edgardo Rebagliatis Social Security Hospital and Hipolito Unanue General Hospital in Lima, Peru, in all aspects of primary care, acute care, and medicine, working with diverse patient populations.
