Maria Diaz, ARNP, AGNP-BC, a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in adult gerontology, earned her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing adult gerontology nurse practitioner, from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, summa cum laude from FIU. Earlier in her career, she received her medical degree from the University of Medical Science in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. Before joining Conviva in 2023, Ms. Diaz worked as a nurse practitioner at MMR Healthcare in Boynton Beach, Florida, since 2017. She is a compassionate healthcare professional who prefers to put a strong emphasis on patient and family education throughout her practice. Her experiences and love for helping others has helped her to develop a philosophy embracing a culture of caring for people, regardless of their age or circumstances, mirroring Conviva's values. Ms. Diaz decided to join the healthcare profession because she has always had a passion for helping others and serving her community. Outside of work, she loves to be with family and spends her free time enjoying moments with her husband, daughter, and sweet, chocolate Labrador, Duke.
