Maria E. Lara Suarez is a dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with extensive experience in primary care. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Maria brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to patient care. Maria graduated from Miami Regional University with a degree as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in April 2022. She also holds a Registered Nurse degree from the International Institute For Health Care Professional in Boca Raton, completed in July 2017, and a Medical Doctor degree from the Superior Institute of Medical Science in Villa Clara, Cuba. Maria is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association. Her background includes significant experience in medical and surgical history recording, physical and psychosocial needs evaluation, and interdisciplinary care coordination. She is particularly passionate about addressing issues such as loneliness/socialization, obesity, and heart health. Outside of her professional life, Maria enjoys listening to music, doing volunteer work, and reading books.
