Dr. Maria Yssa joined Conviva as a board-certified family medicine and wound management specialist. Dr. Yssa completed her family medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her medical degree from the Juan N. Corpas School of Medicine in Bogota, Colombia. Beyond her clinical practice, she has co-authored research published in peer-reviewed medical journals and holds memberships with prestigious organizations such as the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Yssa's commitment to quality care is further exemplified by her recognition through the NCQA Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP), a testament to her proficiency in providing the highest-level diabetes care.
