Maribel Rodriguez Gonzalez, MD performed a geriatrics fellowship and is a Fellow of the West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program at Florida Atlantic University. She completed her family medicine residency at Manati Medical Center in Manati, Puerto Rico, and was named chief resident. Dr. Rodriguez Gonzalez earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts, West Indies, after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico. Her honors include the Outstanding Resident Award, the Family Medicine Resident Award for Scholarship, and the Founders Scholarship at UMHS. Dr. Rodriguez Gonzalez is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Geriatrics Society, and the American Academy of Family Medicine. Her volunteer initiatives have included Puerto Rico Disaster Relief, the ECONO Blood Pressure and Glucose Monitoring Program, the Nutrition Peer Review Committee of Manati Medical Center, and the Maunabo Health Fair for Disaster Relief.
