Dr. Mario Angeles Jr. is a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Angeles completed his family medicine residency at CHRISTUS Spohn/Texas A&M in Corpus Christi, TX. During his residency, he supervised, taught, and evaluated the University of Incarnate Word and Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine's 3rd and 4th-year medical students during their clinical rotations. He earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX, and presented research on the effects of managed care on patient readmission rates. He holds a Bachelor's in Neuroscience from Baylor University.Dr. Angeles served as a family medicine resident physician at CHRISTUS Spohn/Texas A&M Family Medicine Program. He previously worked as an EMT-Basic at Eagle Pass Ambulance LLC, transporting patients and providing basic care. Dr. Angeles's journey into healthcare began with EMT basic training in high school, sparking his passion for medicine. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, pen and ink drawing, hiking, and fantasy and science fiction novels.
