Dr. Mario E. Pelletier is a fellowship-trained, board-certified internal medicine and pulmonary specialist. Dr. Pelletier performed a pulmonary fellowship at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. He completed an internal medicine residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, and an internal medicine internship at the Hospital of Joint Diseases in New York, NY. He earned his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo. He served a radiology residency at La Paz University Hospital in Spain and a general surgery residency at Salvador Gautier Hospital in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Pelletier worked as a primary care physician at Excelcare-Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ, for over a decade. Earlier, he had a successful 26-year career in private practice as a primary care physician in West New York, NJ. Dr. Pelletier chose medicine to help others and serve the community. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors, listening to music, and quality time with his family.
