Melissa Ann Austria, APRN, FNP-BC, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Barry University in 2015 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University College of Allied Health and Nursing in 2009. Before joining us in 2024, Melissa was an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with Miami International Cardiology Consultants. Her previous experience includes Registered Nurse roles at Memorial Regional Hospital, where she gained experience in cardiac and vascular care, neurology, and interventional radiology and at Broward Health Medical Center in the cardiovascular intensive care unit. She has 15 years of specialized experience. She believes that listening to patients is vital to improving their health, and her dedicated, fulfilling work with older adults reflects this commitment to their well-being. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
