Mercedes J. Pino, D.O., specializes in internal medicine. Dr. Pino completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, in 1997. Dr. Pino earned her medical degree from Southern College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami Beach, Florida, and served a rotating internship at Boston General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, AOA, and the American College of Physicians, ACP. Dr. Pino was honored with the Bishop Roman Scholarship Award in 1984, was listed in the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, and won the 1989 National Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar Award. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Outside of her work, Dr.. Pino enjoys going to the movies, travel, reading, and praying.
