Biography

Michael DePalma, PA-C, is an NCCPA-certified physician assistant. He also holds certifications in Basic Life Support and as a Department of Transportation Medical Examiner. At Conviva Okeechobee, he provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a commitment to medical excellence. Mr. DePalma earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Keiser University in December 2017. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida, in 2012, serving as a Teaching Assistant for professors Marc Gentzler and Elizabeth Sans in 2011. His academic honors include The Rubian White Award for Outstanding Ethics as a PA Student 2017, a Keiser University Academic Scholarship in 2016 and 2017, and an Academic Excellence Award: Top Student in Biology 2014 at Palm Beach State College. Mr. DePalma attended clinical rotations in pediatrics, psychiatry, internal medicine, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine, general surgery, and family medicine. He also completed Leadership Development Training through Keiser University. He’s been a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Association of Physician Assistants, Keiser University Physician Assistant Student Association, and Health Occupational Students of America, VP, from 2007 to 2008. Mr. DePalma grew up in Palm Beach County, has a cat and a dog, is an avid reader, and enjoys the beach and hiking.
