Mrs. Michelle Kennedy Scott, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of healthcare experience and over 16 years devoted primarily to caring for older adults. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. Throughout her career, Mrs. Scott provided primary care, geriatric care, rehabilitation medicine, chronic disease management, obesity medicine, and transitional care across outpatient, rehabilitation, long-term care, home-based, and hospital settings. She also served in leadership roles as a nurse manager, educator, and healthcare entrepreneur, developing innovative programs to improve access to care for underserved populations. Mrs. Scott is passionate about heart health, obesity management, and brain health. She believes that taking the time to listen to patients is essential to improving their quality of life and health, and she strives to understand not only their diagnoses but also how those conditions affect their independence, mobility, and personal goals. Outside of work, Mrs. Scott enjoys road cycling.
