Dr. Milvia Laureano is a general practice physician. Dr. Laureano earned her medical degree from Catholic Pontifical Mother and Teacher University in the Dominican Republic. She served a rotational internship at Dr. Isaac Gonzalez Martínez Oncologic Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico and began her career as a chemist in the Rhone Poulenc Quality Control Laboratory in Puerto Rico in 1990. Dr. Laureano practiced with Orlando Family Physicians by Innovacare in Kissimmee, FL, providing family medicine with a preventative and holistic approach to older adults. Her experience includes the Centro Medico Familiar, a private practice in Vega Baja, PR. Earlier, she served as the Emergency Room Medical Director of Vega Baja Medical and worked as an ER physician with Atlantic Medical and Vega Alta Community Health. Dr. Laureano finds joy in working with seniors because of their wealth of experience and trust in her to guide their health. In her free time, she enjoys gathering for family meetings, visiting the beach, and going for walks.
