Dr. Mina B. Zahedi, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City in 1999, following her general medicine residency at Henry Mondor University Medical Center in Paris, France. Dr. Zahedi earned her medical degree from the University of Paris-Val de Marnes School of Medicine in Creteil, France, in 1989. She has co-authored research published in medical journals, including an article on toxic epidermal necrolysis in Age and Aging and one on elder abuse in the Review of Epidemiology, Diagnosis and Management. Before joining our center as an internal medicine physician in 2021, Dr. Zahedi worked with Advent Health Care Partners from 2015 to 2019. Prior to this, she practiced privately in Ormond Beach, FL, from 2000 to 2015 and at Flamingo Medical Center in Ormond Beach in 2000. Dr. Zahedi chose medicine for the immense opportunity to improve people's lives. She is affiliated with Advent Health Daytona Beach and is a member of the Volusia County Medical Association and the AMA. In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies, reading, and traveling.
