Dr. Nneka Chinenye Enwereuzoh, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed her residency in 2022 at DeTar Healthcare, affiliated with Texas A&M College of Medicine in Victoria, TX, obtaining comprehensive family medicine training in a rural community setting. Dr. Enwereuzoh earned her medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis in 2015. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Enwereuzoh practiced family medicine with WellMed Medical Group in San Antonio, TX, managing acute and chronic medical conditions, performing outpatient procedures, supervising UIW internal medicine residents, and conducting home and nursing home visits. Passionate about working with older adults and addressing obesity, diabetes, and mental health, Dr. Enwereuzoh believes taking the time to listen to her patients is critical to improving their health and quality of life. Dr. Enwereuzoh was inspired to pursue medicine by her mother, a retired RN, and is committed to compassionate care. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and traveling.
