Norka Perez, DNP, AGDNP-BC, a doctorally prepared, board-certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Purdue Global University. Ms. Perez obtained her Master of Science in Nursing, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from Kaplan University, and her BSN from the University of Medical Sciences in Cuba. Before joining Conviva in 2023, Ms. Perez worked as an AGNP at Island Lotus Health, SGHA, Buena Vida Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, and Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. Earlier, she practiced as an RN at Hampton Court and Harmony Health Center in Miami, FL, the University of Louisville, KY, and internationally at Catharina Hospital in The Netherlands and Juan Bruno Surgical Clinical Hospital in Cuba. With an affinity for older adults, she believes listening to her patients is vital for improving their health and quality of life, aligning with Conviva's compassionate values. Ms. Perez chose healthcare to make a difference in people's lives by helping them put their health first, and is passionate about addressing obesity, nutrition, diabetes, and exercise. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors and making memories with her family.
