Obioma Esomonu, M.D., is a medical doctor in general practice. At Conviva Dunn Avenue, he leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. Dr. Esomonu completed his post-graduate medical training with a residency at HIMA San Pablo Hospital in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. He earned his medical degree from Avalon University School of Medicine in Willemstad, Curaçao, from 2006 to 2010. His professional affiliations include the American Medical Association, the Academy of Integrative Health, the American Diabetes Association, and the Puerto Rico College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Esomonu has been associated with HIMA San Pablo Hospital in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, and Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida. Before joining Conviva, he served as a physician with Aza Health in St. Augustine, Florida, from 2019 to 2022, Palm Medical Centers in Lakeland, Florida, from 2017 to 2019, and HIMA San Pablo Hospital in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, from 2015 to 2017. Dr. Esomonu is fluent in English, Spanish, and Igbo. He enjoys fishing, hiking, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.
