Ornella Lucia Saborido Battaglia, MD, MPH, specializes in family medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Buenos Aires and later completed a Master of Public Health at Valencia International University. Dr. Saborido Battaglia completed her Family Medicine residency at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport, where she cared for patients in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, urgent care, and intensive care settings. She evaluated and managed acute and chronic conditions, coordinated care across multidisciplinary teams, and performed a variety of clinical procedures. She also taught medical students and resident physicians, delivered educational lectures, and contributed to research and quality improvement initiatives focused on physician wellness and healthcare access. Dr. Saborido Battaglia believes in empowering patients through education, accurate information, and continual learning. She entered healthcare because of the privilege of improving the lives of people of all ages and is especially passionate about exercise, nutrition, and heart health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and participating in endurance activities.
