Mr. Osmel Labrada-Viera, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, specialized in family practice and mental health care. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Ana G. Mendez University in Orlando and completed a Post-Master's certification in Psychiatric Mental Health at Miami Regional University. He is Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). With extensive experience in primary care, hospice, and hospital settings, he has provided compassionate care to patients with chronic illnesses. His background includes roles as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Clinical Care Medical Center and VITAS Hospice, as well as years of experience in med-surg and dialysis nursing. Osmel also serves as a faculty member at Rasmussen University, sharing his expertise with future healthcare professionals. Guided by his philosophy that listening to patients is key to improving their quality of life, he is passionate about brain and heart health, and diabetes. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, listening to music, and spending time outdoors.
