Patricia Henriquez Martinez completed her family medicine at the University of Puerto Rico in Carolina, PR, as chief resident. Dr. Henriquez Martinez earned her medical degree from Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra, cum laude, in 2012. She practiced primary care in public health and as an emergency room physician at Corominas Hospital and Union Medica del Norte Hospital in Santiago, the Dominican Republic. Her research includes tuberculosis prevention studies in the Dominican Republic and serving as a research advisor for the journal Annals of Medicine PUCMM. Additionally, she has presented posters at national conferences. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Henriquez Martinez served her residency and worked with Medical Associates of South Florida following an externship there in 2019. She believes that taking the time to listen to her patients is crucial for their well-being. In her free time, she enjoys gathering with her family, listening to music, and the outdoors.
