Ramon Rivera-Morales, MD, DABFM, specializes in family medicine and geriatrics. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ponce School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency through the Ponce School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Rivera-Morales brought more than 20 years of experience providing primary and preventive care for adults and older adults in community health centers, occupational medicine, and senior-focused healthcare settings. He managed chronic conditions, promoted healthy lifestyle choices, and helped patients maintain their independence and quality of life. His experience also included medical leadership roles as a Center Medical Director, supervising clinical teams and supporting quality patient care. In addition, he served as a Clinical Instructor for Florida International University and Ponce School of Medicine, contributing to the education of future healthcare professionals. Dr. Rivera-Morales believes his job is to help patients make healthier choices that keep them happy and healthy. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
