Dr. Randolph M. Gamez joined Conviva as a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine. At Conviva, he leads a team of primary care professionals in providing patient-focused care with a dedication to medical excellence. Dr. Gamez completed his family medicine residency at San Bernardino Community Hospital, affiliated with the University of California at Irvine, as well as an internship in family medicine at South Nassau Community Hospital, affiliated with the State University of New York in Oceanside, New York. Dr. Gamez was the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship, Becas de Atzlan, from Mexico's President Luis Echeverria to study medicine in Mexico in 1976 and earned his medical degree from the University of Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico. He received his second medical degree from the State University of New York, Stoneybrook. Dr. Gamez is affiliated with Christus Spohn Hospital, Corpus Christi Medical Center, and Bay Area Medical, and he is a member of the Nueces County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. Married with two children and a native of Corpus Christi, Texas, in his free time, Dr. Gamez enjoys golf, hunting, and fishing.
