Mr. Reinaldo Hernandez Silva, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in primary care. He earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Miami Regional University in Miami, Florida and previously earned a Doctor of Medicine degree and Family Medicine specialization from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana in Cuba. Throughout his career, Mr. Hernandez Silva provided care in primary care, hospital, hospice and palliative care settings. He managed chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, performed preventive screenings, delivered wellness care and supported patients with complex healthcare needs. His experience caring for older adults included evaluating chronic conditions, medication management, fall risk, cognitive function and activities of daily living. He also served as a preceptor for nursing students from multiple universities, demonstrating his commitment to mentoring future healthcare professionals. Outside of work, Mr. Hernandez Silva enjoys spending time with family and listening to music.
