Dr. Robert Ramirez, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed his internal medicine residency at Seton Healthcare Network, Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas, recognized as an Outstanding Resident. Dr. Ramirez earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He was a National Hispanic Scholar Award Recipient and obtained an A.B. in Biology cum laude from Harvard University. His accolades include the Archdiocese of San Antonio Federation of Catholic Parent Teacher Clubs Leadership Service Award, and he has served as a preceptor of internal medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Before joining Conviva in 2022, Dr. Ramirez practiced internal medicine in San Antonio, TX, for 20 years. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, and American Medical Association. His many volunteer activities include San Antonio West Side Volunteer Sports Physicals; the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk; and Medical Correspondent, KTSA, and KCDC Radio. Outside of work, Dr. Ramirez enjoys spending time with his family, classical music, playing piano, golf, and science fiction films.
