Dr. Roger Ernesto Bidondo Gil, MD, FACP, is an internal medicine physician specializing in primary care for adults and older adults. He earned his Medical Doctor degree from the Medical Sciences Faculty of Matanzas “Juan Guiteras Gener” in Matanzas, Cuba, and also completed family medicine training there before finishing an internal medicine residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. Dr. Bidondo Gil provided primary care, post-acute care in nursing home settings, hospital-based training, and telehealth services across several states. His experience included caring for seniors, managing chronic conditions, and supporting patients through convenient virtual care. He also contributed to research and quality improvement projects and was recognized for his passion for teaching and teamwork. Dr. Bidondo Gil believes in treating patients with the same time, dedication, and commitment he would give those closest to him. He is especially passionate about heart health, brain health, diabetes, exercise, obesity, nutrition, and caregiving. Outside of work, he enjoys listening to music, reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
