Romel Figueredo, MD, specializes in internal medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba and completed his Internal Medicine residency at San Juan City Hospital in Puerto Rico. Dr. Figueredo brought more than 30 years of experience in primary care, ambulatory medicine, and hospital-based practice, caring for adults and older adults with complex and chronic medical conditions. Throughout his career, he managed preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient-centered treatment plans focused on maintaining independence and improving quality of life. His experience also included caring for patients across multiple hospital and outpatient settings in Florida, Puerto Rico, and Cuba. Dr. Figueredo believes in treating patients with the same time, dedication, and commitment he would invest in those closest to him. He entered healthcare because of his deep commitment to seniors and safeguarding their quality of life and is especially passionate about caregiving, diabetes, and heart health. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
