Dr. Rosaura Eladia Baez, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed her internal medicine residency at Winthrop University Hospital in 1998, named chief resident. Dr. Baez earned her medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine, State University of New York in 1994 following her B.A. in Computer Science from Columbia University, where she was honored on the Dean's List. She served as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, mentoring students and overseeing free medical care initiatives. Dr. Baez joined our center in 2022 and previously was the chief medical and compliance officer at Elite Health Medical Group. Her experience includes roles at Gulf Coast Medical Group and Baybreeze Health and Rehabilitation Center, and SeaView Research. Passionate about seniors and addressing diabetes and heart health, she believes in empowering her patients through accurate information and continual learning. She enjoys volunteering in community education, and in her free time, loves cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
