Samantha Torres, ARNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Ms. Torres obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, in 2015 and earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2017. She is an esteemed member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Ms. Torres worked as a board-certified family nurse practitioner with Dr. G. Fredrick Herdel Internal Medicine in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and previously with the Humana Metcare Family Practice in DeLand, FL. She has had extensive experience as an emergency room registered nurse at Florida Hospital Deland and Holy Cross Hospital/Nurse Residency in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Earlier, she was a medical-surgical assistant at Dr. Thomas S. Breza Dermatology in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, FL. Ms. Torres values older adult patients and has highlighted the importance of detailed assessments and clear communication when providing specialized care for aging-related conditions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family.
